MH Motorsport on road driver training encompasses a full programme of on road defensive driver training which teaches forward thinking and anticipation skills.
However MH Motorsport are realistic enough to realise that there are occasions when these skills are not enough to avoid an accident.
For this reason we have developed our unique “POINT OF ACCIDENT SKID CONTROL COURSE”
In 2005 over 64,000 accidents resulting in personal injury involved a skid.
Would you know what to do?.
Our experience tells us that most drivers will freeze or react incorrectly in any loss of control scenario. The reason for this is that drivers are under extreme pressure in an alien situation. Our Skid Control Course can in a matter of hours give drivers experience of every possible skid scenario thereby creating instinctive responses and significantly reducing risks.
Using our unique Swedish SkidCar system our Instructors can create and alter any loss of control scenario to constantly challenge and educate the driver at a pace to suit his/her abiliies. The object of the training is to instil into drivers through practice the ability to recognize the situation they are in, and react instantly and instinctively to correct the situation.

The Skid Control Course is a 2 hour course comprising.
- Classroom Theory Briefing.
- Instructor Skid demos
- Hands on Skid Practice
- Instructor braking technique demo ABS and non ABS
- Hands on braking technique practice.
- Timed Slalom Event. The fun part of the course, this is a chance to enjoy putting Your new found skills into practice against the stop watch. The object of the slalom is to encourage drivers into a loss of control scenario to practice their skills and increase confidence in a safe and controlled environment.

Each pupil successfully completing the course will be awarded a Certificate as a memento of the experience and a discounted opportunity to join one of our Race Circuit sessions.
Our Swedish SkidCar system is uniquely fully portable and can therefore be operated on any Company car park with a suitable area (approx. ½ football pitch minimum), which means minimum Staff downtime during Company driver training.
