Skid Control Courses
Our skid control courses are great fun whilst giving you practical experience in controlling your car in the event of a skid. All our courses start with a safety briefing, followed by in car demonstrations and explanations by our skilled instructors about the dynamics of car control, including understeer, oversteer, etc.
You will learn why you should steer into a skid as well learning some braking techniques that will help you when driving on slippery roads.We use rear wheel drive cars so that we can simulate both front and rear wheel loss of control. The car sits in a fully adjustable electronic hydraulic cradle that is able to simulate road conditions where the risk of skidding is high e.g. rain, ice, snow, hail, diesel spills.
Our aim is to teach you the steering and braking techniques vital to controlling your car in adverse weather conditions, and to react quickly and instinctively to regain control should your car start to skid. Having fun at the same time is a bonus! We also include a fun timed slalom to test your skills against the clock.

Skid Experience Taster - £49
Skid Tasters last an hour with a briefing, instructor demonstration and 15-20min of hands on skid control driving. 3:1 instruction ratio.

All Weather Skid Control - £99
This is the standard course lasting two hours and includes a briefing, instructor demonstrations, hands on skid control driving, braking demonstration, hands on braking technique driving, fun timed slalom and personalised certificate. 35-40min driving time. 3:1 instruction ratio.

All Weather Skid Control - 1:1 Option - £139
This is a one to one option of the above course and lasts an hour. You will have one on one instruction and upto 50min driving time.

Get a group of three friends, relatives or colleagues together and we'll discount by £30! Parents can take on their kids! Course as per All Weather Skid Control.

Group Event Day - £999
Book a full day of Skid Control Driving for 12. At just £83 pp this is a great value activity for parties, companies and clubs. Gender neutral, doesn't depend on the weather (better in the wet!!), anyone who drives can take part.
